Role Overview
This is a high-impact individual contributor role at the heart of Botify's South EMEA growth engine. You will own a territory of mid-market accounts across France and Southern Europe, taking full ownership of the sales cycle — building pipeline from scratch, running discovery, and driving deals through to close. You'll work alongside a BDR and in close partnership with a Solutions Consultant to win new logos in a market that is actively waking up to the AI visibility problem.
The best candidates for this role aren't just closers — they're genuinely curious. They ask better questions than their competitors. They care about understanding a customer's business deeply enough to connect it to outcomes that matter. That curiosity is what makes the difference between a transactional rep and a trusted commercial partner.
What you'll do:
Take full ownership of the mid-market sales cycle — building pipeline from scratch, running discovery, and driving deals through to close
Generate a minimum 3x self-sourced pipeline alongside BDR-sourced opportunities, running disciplined outbound across your account set
Lead executive-level discovery conversations that get to the root of how a brand's AI visibility strategy — or lack of one — is affecting revenue
Apply MEDDPICC rigorously to qualify, progress, and forecast opportunities accurately; maintain clean Salesforce hygiene at every stage
Build multi-threaded relationships across Marketing, Digital, eCommerce, and C-suite stakeholders within target accounts
Develop and present compelling business cases that connect Botify's platform to measurable commercial outcomes
Leverage AWS and GCP co-sell relationships and Marketplace listings to accelerate pipeline and access new accounts
Collaborate closely with Solutions Consulting and Customer Success to ensure a seamless handoff and strong customer start
Bring market intelligence back to the team — sharing what's working, what you're hearing from prospects, and what the competition is doing
Who you are:
You are a commercially driven, endlessly curious mid-market SaaS seller. You don't wait for inbound. You study your accounts before you pick up the phone. You ask second and third-level questions in discovery because the first answer is rarely the real one. You know that the rep who understands the customer's business best usually wins, and you act accordingly.
You live in AI tools. Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity — you use them to research accounts, sharpen your messaging, prep for calls, and move faster than the competition. You don't wait to be told to use new tools; you're already experimenting
You thrive in a category that's moving fast. You can explain a complex, technical product in plain language and connect it to what a CMO actually cares about. You take your forecast seriously and you close what you say you're going to close.
What we're looking for:
3-6 years of closing experience in a mid-market SaaS environment, with a consistent track record of quota attainment
Experience running the full sales cycle independently — from self-generated pipeline to signed contract
MEDDPICC-trained or equivalent; you use it as a thinking tool, not a checkbox
Strong discovery skills — the ability to ask questions that surface real business pain and build urgency
Comfortable selling into Marketing, Digital and eCommerce functions; experience with martech, analytics, or digital experience platforms is an advantage
Proficient in AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity or similar) as part of your everyday working practice
Clean Salesforce discipline and accurate, well-reasoned forecasting
Native or bilingual French required; professional English required; Spanish and/or Italian a plus

Salary:
65,000€ - 85,000€ base salary per year + variable
