Role Overview
As a member of our international Finance team, you will report directly to our VP of Finance in New York and play a critical role in helping the company scale efficiently. This is a high-impact role where you'll combine analytical rigor with strategic partnership — working across a global, multicultural organization to drive sustainable growth while keeping financial discipline at the core of our decisions. At Botify, AI is not just a product; it is part of how we work. We expect this role to be at the forefront of how Finance embraces intelligent automation.
Your responsibilities:
Own and maintain the company's SaaS metrics model (ARR, churn, new business); ensure data accuracy with our CRM, and resolve inconsistencies or edge cases
Analyze financial performance vs. budget and forecast; communicate key variances and insights to internal stakeholders
Partner with the Accounting team (based in France) to review monthly financial data and ensure reporting accuracy
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the Board and investors
Progressively grow into a Finance Business Partner role for US-based teams including Sales, Marketing, Product and G&A: reviewing actuals vs. budget, running scenario analyses, and supporting hiring and opex planning
Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by consolidating inputs, supporting senior stakeholders in target-setting, and helping build P&L and cash flow projections for long-term planning
Manage monthly and quarterly commission calculations for US teams; ensure accuracy and handle questions or disputes
Continuous improvement of FP&A processes by embedding AI and automation into day-to-day workflows (from financial modeling and variance analysis to reporting and ad hoc insights) with a focus on speed, accuracy, and scalability
Act as an early adopter of AI-powered Finance tools within the team: experiment, document best practices, and help build a culture of intelligent automation across the FP&A function
Your qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus
3–4 years of relevant experience in one of the following: FP&A at a high-growth SaaS or tech company; Transaction Services or Deals Advisory at a Big 4 firm; or investment banking / corporate finance with a subsequent move into an in-house FP&A role
Familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV) and subscription business models
Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets; strong presentation skills in PowerPoint or Google Slides to communicate financial results to senior stakeholders
Experience with or curiosity about BI and financial planning tools (e.g., Pigment, Abacum) is a plus
At ease working in a global, cross-functional environment with colleagues and stakeholders across time zones and cultures
Confident navigating cross-functional discussions, including budget requests and commercial tradeoffs; able to offer thoughtful, creative alternatives aligned with company priorities
Strong financial and business acumen: able to assess business needs, challenge assumptions, and balance growth with financial discipline
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in a Finance or analytical context — including prompt design, data interpretation assistance, and workflow automation; genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping the CFO function
Continuous improvement mindset: you proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and enhance efficiency
Experience with ERP and CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce) is a plus
French language skills are a plus
